Projects
At Laya Initiatives Foundation, every project is a step toward shaping a sustainable and empowered future. Through education, eco-learning, life skills, and community-driven initiatives, we design programs that not only create impact today but also inspire long-term change. From classrooms to communities, our projects connect students, volunteers, and institutions in building a greener, more inclusive tomorrow.
Project Sigaram
Rising Through Language
Project Sigaram is designed to uplift students by providing holistic learning opportunities that extend beyond classrooms. “Sigaram,” meaning summit or peak, reflects our belief that every child has the potential to rise, achieve, and lead with confidence.
Through this initiative, we create platforms for students to learn, express, and grow – academically, emotionally, and socially – while embedding the values of sustainability and community responsibility.

Highlights:
Free online English classes.
Practical focus on speaking, listening, and confidence.
Driven by passionate volunteer educators.

Project Thulir
Eco Education & Therapeutic Horticulture
Project Thulir (meaning sprout) symbolizes growth, inclusion, and the nurturing power of nature. This project brings the concept of therapeutic gardening into schools, community spaces, and institutions, enabling children and differently-abled individuals to heal, learn, and express through nature.
Gardening becomes more than planting – it becomes a source of creativity, calmness, and inclusion. With every sprout, participants build connections with the environment and with themselves.
